Day 3 - Blackberry Farms, Cupertino, CA

After couple of failed attempts in Yosemite for getting the campsite, we decided to drive to Cupertino, CA, my friend Siva Reddy's residence.  He recently moved from Orange County and Mounika got a word from me that we will stay a day or two at her best friend's place.  We started around 8:00 pm in Yosemite and it took more than 6 hours to reach Cupertino, CA.  My wife Sreelu is big help in sharing the driving!  After good sleep for 7 hours, we went out to Blackberry Farm, just a mile away from my friend's place.

Day 2 - Yosemite...

Checked out from the hotel @10:30 am and started to Yosemite.

After three hours of drive on ghat road, we reached vista point, where Abraham Lincoln decided to adopt Yosemite and signed Yosemite Grant in 1864.

We tried to get a camp site to spend a night, but every ground was full!  We went on Valley Tour and spent whole day checking out various falls and vista points.  Over all, kids were happy to see the place and they are amazed by the fact that whole valley is surrounded by long rock walls.  Sanjay & Mounika decided to climb El Capitan rock and beat the current record.

Day 1

After almost 3 months of thinking, planning, arguing, we finally picked all our stuff, put everything aside and drove six hours to a hotel summerfield Inn in Fresno, California.  We will rest for few hours and then we will go to Yosemite.
